All emblems are elaborately processed in several special processes. The emblem is roughened to maintain paint durability and smoothed for paintability. The surface is then primed and painted several times in high-quality glossy black, sealed with clear varnish and then foiled.
Installation instructions VW Emblem Golf 7
- Guide the screwdriver (3) through the opening (arrow A)
- Press the screwdriver (3) backwards (arrow B). This guides the screwdriver (3) onto the latching hook (4).
- Unlock the locking hook (4) (arrow A).
- Pull the emblem slightly forward out of the radiator grille (arrow C). The two snap-in hooks (5) will release by themselves.
- Pull the emblem up out of the radiator grille (2) (arrow D)
- Press the emblem into the radiator grille (2) until the two locking hooks (4) and (5) engage audibly. FINISHED!
