This is an original star, which was subsequently painted completely black / glossy in a special process. The original chrome surface was sanded and pretreated with an acid before painting, thus creating the best possible connection between the part and the applied paint guaranteed. The coating is absolutely suitable for everyday use, weatherproof and car wash resistant. It becomes a complete star for the front bonnet. Please note that the paintwork on the joint itself cannot be guaranteed to last, as these are parts that move.
